CHICAGO — Without skipping a beat, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made sure to thank President Biden for his service to the country amid rumors of friction between the pair.
“Thank you, Joe,” Pelosi (D-Calif.) said, listing a number of his accomplishments on issues such as climate change, lowering prescription drug prices, signing infrastructure legislation, and more.
Biden “had one of the most successful presidencies of modern times,” she added. “I know that Vice President Harris is ready to take us to new heights.”
