The 2024 Paris Olympics continued on Wednesday with plenty of medal events across Paris, including in track and field, weightlifting, wrestling, cycling, skateboarding and more.
The United States continued to find success at Stade de France, with Quincy Hall winning gold in the men’s 400, Kenneth Rooks taking silver in the 3000M steeplechase and Katie Moon nabbing silver in the women’s pole vault competition.
Elsewhere, Team USA’s Tom Schaar won a silver medal in men’s skateboarding, Hampton Morris won the United States’ first weightlifting medal (bronze) in 40 years and artistic swimming won a silver medal after their “moonwalk” went viral.
And while these don’t count toward the medal total below, Team USA’s figure skaters from the 2022 Beijing Games finally got their gold medals after the Russia doping scandal.
