A’ja Wilson’s milestone week in Indianapolis continued Thursday with a casual outing with a rumored love interest.
Shortly after making league history Wednesday by scoring the most points in a single WNBA season, the star Las Vegas Aces center stepped out with the Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo, whom she’s been linked to since the summer.
The twosome was seen walking together in new photos published Sunday by TMZ, which reported Wilson, 28, and Adebayo, 27, “were among a group of people on a stroll down Market Street.”
The Fever hosted the Aces in back-to-back contests this week, with Wilson breaking the previous WNBA record for most points recorded in a single season (Jewell Lloyd’s 939 points in 2023) in Las Vegas’ 86-75 win on Wednesday.
Wilson reached the milestone in the first half and finished the game with a season total of 956 points, per the Associated Press.
“I don’t want to sound cliché when I say this but, I don’t get any of that without every single teammate along the way. I’m so grateful to be able to play with selfless women,” the two-time WNBA champion said.
The Aces — who wrapped their Indiana road trip Friday with a 78-74 win over the Fever — appeared to play into the Adebayo buzz on X, captioning a post on Wednesday celebrating Wilson’s achievement, “BAM!”
Wilson reacted to the post with a curious gif of her own.
The latest Wilson-Adebayo sighting comes days after a separate appearance in South Florida, where the Heat star received a key to Miami-Dade County following a gold-medal Olympics run with Team USA basketball.
Wilson’s attendance was even called out by Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava.
Adebayo and Wilson first fueled romance buzz in July when they were photographed together before the Olympics.
The two shared a courtside handshake in Paris as Wilson won a gold medal with the U.S. women’s basketball team.
Wilson and the Aces (24-13) return to action Sunday when they host the Connecticut Sun.
She is averaging 27 points per game this season, 12.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
