Amon-Ra St. Brown heads to locker room early in Week 13 with ankle injury, will not return to contest
The Detroit Lions might need some extra help if they want to take down the division rival Green Bay Packers in Week 13. With roughly six minutes left in the first quarter, Detroit star Amon-Ra St. Brown limped off the field and into the locker room with an ankle injury.
St. Brown appeared to injure his ankle while blocking on a run play.
The injury occurred on the team’s second drive of the day. After going three-and-out on their first drive, the Lions took the field with 6:32 left in the first quarter. On the first play of the second drive, the Lions tried to run Jahmyr Gibbs to the right side.

St. Brown was a blocker on the play and tried to stop Packers safety Xavier McKinney from making a play. As the two were engaged, a Lions offense lineman rolled into St. Brown’s legs.
St. Brown remained down on the field for a bit. He eventually limped off the field and went straight to the locker room. The Lions initially deemed him questionable to return.
Shortly after halftime, however, St. Brown was ruled out of the contest. He registered one target, but no catches, during the game.
