EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The Baltimore Ravens are off to a strong start and quarterback Lamar Jackson is off to a perfect one.
Jackson threw a 49-yard touchdown to wide-open receiver Rashod Bateman, who caught the deep pass at the 10-yard line and faked out two New York Giants defenders to reach the end zone. After jumping out to a 14-0 lead in the second quarter, Jackson has a perfect 158.3 passer rating, completing all seven passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns.

This was Bateman’s sixth touchdown of the season, which trails only tight end Mark Andrews on the team. Bateman had four touchdown catches in his first three seasons combined.
Andrews staked the Ravens to an early lead and made franchise history as well.
On third-and-goal, Andrews caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Jackson with 3:18 left in the first quarter. It was Andrews’ 48th career touchdown, which surpasses running back Jamal Lewis for the most in Ravens history.

Andrews celebrated by pointing to Jackson and then giving him a chest bump.
His record came after the roughest start of his seven-year career. He didn’t have a touchdown catch in his first five games. But Andrews has now reached the end zone eight times in his last nine games.
