Sunday’s NFL Wild Card action will kick off with the Bills heading to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars.

Despite having Josh Allen and playoff experience on their side, the Bills find themselves as slight 1.5-point underdogs as they travel south.

The Jags come into this one on an eight-game winning streak thanks to a solid defense and powerhouse offense, which has gotten a major boost from an unlikely place.

Despite the presence of Brian Thomas Jr. and mid-season trade for Jakobi Meyers, third-year wide receiver Parker Washington has arguably become the top target for quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

Washington has been a beast in recent weeks, and it appears oddsmakers haven’t quite caught on with his breakout.

The Penn State product has caught at least five passes and is averaging nearly 116 receiving yards per game over his last three contests.

Over the last three weeks of the season, Washington’s 29 total targets were tied for the fifth-most in football, behind only Amon-Ra St. Brown, Puka Nacua, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Ja’Marr Chase.

That’s quite the company.

Even with those types of performances, Vegas is pricing Washington more like the pass catcher he was early on this season.

Washington’s over/under for catches and receiving yards are sitting at just 4.5 and 51.5, respectively, which are numbers he’s had no problem passing lately.

Betting on the NFL?

I expect Lawrence to continue peppering Washington, but his big play ability should help him hit the over on his yards through the air as well.

In what could be a shootout, let’s bet on Washington’s late season burst to be for real.

The play: Parker Washington to have five or more catches (+120, bet365 Sportsbook) | More than 51.5 receiving yards (-110, FanDuel Sportsbook)
