Caitlin Clark looked back on her “best year” yet in a farewell message to 2024.
The Fever guard — who was selected by the Indiana Fever with the No. 1 pick in this year’s WNBA draft and went on to win Rookie of the Year — shared her favorite moments of 2024 in a collage of photos posted to Instagram on Tuesday.
“My fav moments from the best year,” Clark, 22, wrote. “Time to make 2025 even better🖤📓💫.”
Some of Clark’s photos featured her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, who is an assistant coach at Butler after previously serving as assistant for the Pacers last season.
“Queen,” McCaffery commented with a heart-hand emoji, a gesture Clark does on the court when she sees her family at her games.
McCaffery is a former member of Iowa’s men’s basketball team and the son of Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery.
One photo showed the couple smiling while at a Halloween party in October.
Another snapshot included Clark taking a selfie of the couple in the reflection of a trophy.
Other photos showed Clark during her senior season with Iowa, with the guard leading the Hawkeyes back-to-back Final Fours and national title game appearances — including this year’s 87-75 loss to South Carolina in the national title game in April.
The month prior, Clark became the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer for Division 1 men and women’s basketball.
Clark and McCaffery are said to have met during their college days at Iowa.
They celebrated one year together in April, Clark shared in a post on Instagram at the time.
Clark went public with their relationship when she shared photos of the couple on a boat together in August 2023.
