Leave it to CM Punk to start making sense of his triple-threat match with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41 — and maybe leaving a few hints at what’s coming next.
Punk even brought back his “I work with children” line from AEW to describe the forever squabbling between the former Shield members that only escalated.
During his promo on “Monday Night Raw,” Punk called their interests in the match personal. Rollins loathes both Punk and Reigns and the Tribal Chief appears jealous of the “Best in the World’s” relationship with his Wiseman Paul Heyman.
Punk, on the other hand, said this is about business for him. His goal was to main event WrestleMania for the first time. Rollins took that and his shot at a world title away at Elimination Chamber. His sights are now set on becoming a world champion again at some point and beating Rollins and Reigns will certainly help clear the way.
