Commanders vs. Eagles player props: NFC Championship picks, best bets

Seemingly every game that the Washington Commanders have played in has been a shootout thanks to a beatable defense and incredible performance from Jayden Daniels.

The Commanders’ signal caller has done an unbelievable job dragging a team that went 4-13 last year to the NFC title game this season.

Will he be able give them a Super Bowl berth opposite the vaunted Eagles’ defense?

He’s fast, but not that fast.

It’s a big spot for a phenomenal player that has exceeded expectations.

Props were fruitful last week, as we nailed Zach Ertz to score a touchdown (+295) and Brian Robinson Jr to run for 70+ rushing yards (+700), so we’re reading Washington well right now.

Commanders vs. Eagles player props

Austin Ekeler Over 24.5 receiving yards (-115, Fanatics Sportsbook) | 80+ (+1600, Bet365)

Austin Ekeler’s return from injury looks to be a serious linchpin for the Commanders, as he’s been heavily involved in the offense.

Ekeler has had at least four catches in his two playoff games, while earlier in the season he had 89 receiving yards in the Commanders’ 26-18 road loss to the Eagles.

In the game he did not play, a wild 36-33 comeback win in Week 16, the Commanders still had their running backs heavily involved in the passing game, gobbling up six catches.

Receiver Olamide Zaccheaus also stepped up in Ekeler’s absence and hauled in two touchdowns.

Given what we’ve seen from these two games, the Commanders are clearly featuring running backs in the passing game.

In steps one of their best playmakers at full health, so bet on Ekeler to showcase himself with a chance to go to the Super Bowl.

Ekeler has cleared this number in both playoff games and six of 11 regular-season games, although injuries were a piece of the story in the games he went Under.

Betting on the NFL?

Zach Ertz anytime touchdown scorer (+295, DraftKings) | 2+ (31/1, FanDuel)

Revenge game against his former team.

Zach Ertz was kicked to the curb rather abruptly by the Eagles while they went forward at tight end with oft-injured Dallas Goedert.

They’d probably have been better off keeping him at this point, but the Commanders are reaping the rewards.

Ertz has scored seven touchdowns in his last 10 games. Why his touchdown prop is still +295 is beyond me since he’s a major target for the Washington around the goal line.

A touchdown Sunday will taste especially sweet in the city he called home for so long.

Ertz hadz nine catches for 59 yards a touchdown in two combined games against the Eagles.
