These are the things Jets general manager Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn are offering and asking of the team’s tortured fan base after finishing 3-14 this season, with no playoff berth for a 15th consecutive year.
“I believe we can be competitive and respectable right away … next year,” Mougey said Tuesday, alongside Glenn in a dual news conference (read: security-blanket spot) for what felt like a 20-minute dental appointment for the two of them.
