Freddie Freeman’s wife was loving his latest monster moment of the 2024 World Series.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Saturday, Chelsea Freeman celebrated the star Dodgers first baseman’s second home run of the best-of-seven series against the Yankees – a third-inning blast in Game 2 at Dodger Stadium – hours after he hit a walk-off grand slam in Friday’s Game 1 win.

Captioning the post, “Another one,” Chelsea cheered on Freeman, 35, as the Dodgers took a 2-0 series lead Saturday with a 4-2 victory in Game 2.

Freeman, whose sprained right ankle kept him out of Games 4 and 6 of the NLCS, played hero Friday with a 10th-inning blast that propelled the Dodgers to a 6-3 win to open the series.

“It felt like nothing, just kind of floating,” said Freeman, who dedicated the grand slam to his father. “Those are the kind of things, when you’re five years old with your two older brothers and you’re playing wiffleball in the backyard, those are the scenarios you dream about — two outs, bases loaded in a World Series game. For it to actually happen and get a home run and walk it off to give us a 1-0 lead, that’s as good as it gets right there.”

Freeman is chasing his first World Series victory as a member of the Dodgers, with whom he signed a six-year, $162 million contract in March 2022 after winning a title with the Braves in 2021.

It’s been a trying year for Freeman and his family, with 3-year-old son Maximus being diagnosed with a rare disorder known as Guillain-Barré syndrome over the summer that saw him go into “full body paralysis.”

He was hospitalized in early August and spent eight days in the Pediatric ICU before being released.

Chelsea, who has been married to Freeman since 2014, provided an encouraging update in mid-August.

“We have seen a lot of progress in the last week and a half. Max is mostly sleeping through the night again. He is sitting unassisted and even started army crawling the last few days. Our life consists of doctor appointments, physical therapy, and lots of pool time,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Earlier this month, Chelsea – who also shares sons Frederick and Brandon with Freeman – told her Instagram followers that Max’s neurologist is “very happy” with his progression.

“With the help of lots and lots of PT, Max is getting closer and closer to being his normal rambunctious self. Again, thank you all so much for the prayers and well wishes for our family,” she shared on Oct. 10.

Game 3 of the World Series gets underway Monday at 8:08 p.m. at Yankee Stadium.
