Former Browns coach Kevin Stefanski already has a short list of teams expected to speak with him for their head coaching vacancy, which includes the Giants.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that, along with Big Blue, the Falcons and Titans are expected to speak with Stefanski.

Stefanski was fired by the Browns on Monday after Cleveland wrapped up a 5-12 season in 2025 and has gone a combined 8-26 over the past two years.

The ex-Browns coach twice won Coach of the Year while he was in Cleveland and Stefanski led the team to playoff appearances in 2020 and 2023, even beating the Steelers in the wild-card round in 2020.

The decision on who the next head coach for the Giants will be left to general manager Joe Schoen to make after it was confirmed on Monday that he would remain in the role after another ugly season in East Rutherford.

In a joint statement by co-owners John Mara and Steve Tisch, they acknowledged that the 2025 season was “deeply disappointing” and it had “not lived up to the standard this organization and our fans expect.”

“As previously stated, Joe Schoen will remain our General Manager and continue to lead our football operations and the search for our next head coach. Continuity and stability in the front office is important to our progress,” the statement read.

Oddsmakers have already started weighing in on who the Giants will hire as their next head coach, with Stefanski being given the third-best odds by DraftKings at +800.

Other names that could be on the Giants’ radar for possible head coaches include former Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy and Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley.

Monday was a busy day as it lived up to its moniker as “Black Monday,” a day traditionally after the NFL regular season when teams make changes to their front office and coaching staffs.

Jonathan Gannon (Cardinals), Pete Carroll (Raiders) and Raheem Morris (Falcons) will also be looking for new jobs after all being fired after the season.
