LAS VEGAS — The Giants locker room, in the immediate aftermath of their 34-10 domination of the Raiders on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium, was alive.
It was the first time in 80 days their postgame locker room was bustling like this, with players joking with each other, lingering before showering and boarding the team bus and actually enjoying conversations with reporters.
Greg Van Roten, the Giants veteran right guard, was one of the last players to leave the locker room when I stopped and chatted with him.
He was, of course, happy to have won a game for the first time since Oct. 9, a Thursday night win over the Eagles that had given the Giants such hope at the time.
