The Giants and Raiders meet in a Week 17 matchup that can’t avoid the tanking allegations.

Both teams are 2-13, on the edge of irrelevance with absolutely no shot at the playoffs. In addition, neither has won a game since Week 6.

Lengthy injury reports for a pair of teams with identical nine-game losing streaks? This is what late-season football is all about.

For the second straight season, the Giants enter Week 17, 11 games under .500, controlling their fate and destiny toward a top draft pick.

The G-Men are 2.5-point favorites, with the over/under set at 41.5 total points, per bet365

Giants vs. Raiders best bet, prediction

Las Vegas has essentially waved the white flag, listing tight end Brock Bowers and lead pass-rusher Maxx Crosby on IR for the remainder of the season.

The Giants followed up by listing starting tight end Theo Johnson and three offensive linemen as out. A pair of cornerbacks, Cordale Flott and Deonte Banks, are limited on their latest injury report.

For New York, the one silver lining out of a season full of firings and injuries has lost its stride.

As outstanding as Jaxson Dart has been, his recent statistical decline since Brian Daboll was fired warrants a study. The Ole Miss product was once the favorite for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, with -135 odds, but now he sits at +3500, per FanDuel.

Dart threw for a career-low 31 passing yards at MetLife in last week’s ugly 16-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He visibly struggled with Brian Flores’ blitz and defensive schemes.

One rookie who has found his stride late in the season is Ashton Jeanty.

Jeanty broke loose for a 60-yard run and catch touchdown, accounting for a career-high 188 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns in Week 16 against the Houston Texans.

Betting on the NFL?

The Giants rank 31st in rushing yards allowed per game (150.9) and dead last in yards per carry, allowing opponents 5.7 yards per tote.

Raiders’ spellback Raheem Mostert’s touches are beginning to diminish as Jeanty is seeing the field on third downs more than ever.

I’m going with Jeanty in what will likely be another high usage game for the tailback in this week’s battle of the tanks.

The Play: Ashton Jeanty rush + receiving yards over 105.5 (-111, DraftKings)
