Heroes, zeros and the full blitz from the Jets’ 42-10 loss to the Patriots on Sunday:
Hero
Patriots quarterback Drake Maye had as many passing touchdowns (five) Sunday as Jets quarterbacks have had since Nov. 9. The MVP candidate completed his first 11 passes and finished 19-for-21 for 256 yards in two-plus quarters of dominance.
Zero
After a rare stop by the Jets defense, safety Jordan Clark was penalized for taunting. The Jets were already down 25 points late in the first half, and soon that deficit would grow to 32.

Unsung Hero
Breece Hall became the first Jet to rush for more than 1,000 yards since Chris Ivory in 2015. Hall was the lone bright spot in this ugly loss, rushing for 111 yards on 14 carries, including a 59-yard touchdown run.

Quote of the Day
“Today was probably the one time I feel like our effort wasn’t as good [as] I would want it to be, and that’s just me not BS-ing you guys. Just being honest. I didn’t think the effort was where it needed to be.”
— Jets coach Aaron Glenn
