After an exciting boxing match in Times Square last night, the weekend continues with a matchup between two veteran fighters live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Mexican star Canelo Alvarez will step into the ring for the first time in 2025. He’s 62-2-2 all-time, with 39 of those wins by knockout. He fought twice in 2024, winning both (against Jaime Munguia in May and Edgar Berlanga in September) by unanimous decision.
Alvarez will be up against William Scull, who currently holds the IBF super middleweight championship belt. He has a career record of 23-0, with nine knockouts. He earned his current title, previously held by Alvarez, against Vladimir Shishkin in a unanimous decision win last October.
