How to watch Florida-Tulane in the Gasparilla Bowl for free: Time, streaming

Coming into the 2024 Gasparilla Bowl, the Florida Gators and Tulane Green Wave are both mid-streak.

Billy Napier’s 7-5 Gators finished the season strong and won their final three contests against Florida State, LSU and No. 14-ranked Ole Miss. Freshman quarterback DJ Lagway led the way for the squad, tossing touchdown passes in each of the contests.

His “arm strength and on-field leadership have been instrumental in Florida’s resurgence, propelling the team to notable victories against top-tier opponents,” Gatorswire reported.

Things aren’t going quite as well for Jon Sumrall’s 9-4 Tulane Green Wave. Although their record indicates they had a great season, Darian Mensah and the squad fell apart over the last few weeks and lost their last two games to miss a spot in the College Football Playoff. To add insult to injury, Mensah just committed to Duke, which means backup Ty Thompson will be starting in his place in the Gasparilla Bowl. Star running back Makhi Hughes should be playing as well.

A win here would be huge for either club — Florida missed qualifying for a bowl game in 2023 and Tulane got stomped 41-20 in last year’s Military Bowl.
