After besting the Las Vegas Aces in a rematch of last year‘s WNBA Finals in the semifinal round, the New York Liberty are once again finals-bound, and it all begins tonight.
They’ll play the Minnesota Lynx, who won the regular season series between the two teams, taking two of three games with the most recent one coming last month when the Lynx beat the Liberty 88-79.
It’s not even the first championship the two teams are facing off in this year; the finals of the in-season Commissioner’s Cup championship saw Minnesota win 94–89 over the Liberty.
