Golfer Keegan Bradley entered the FedEx Cup playoffs ranked #50, but after a stunning BMW Championship win last week he’s now eligible to play in the Tour Championship, in which only the top 30 players on this season’s tour are allowed. The Tour Championship begins this week, running from Aug. 29 through Sept. 1 and is played at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.
In the FedEx Cup, players accrue points all throughout the regular season, and the top 70 are invited to play in the FedEx St. Jude Championship, held at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee. The top 50 to come out of St. Jude’s are be eligible for the BMW Championship which was held at Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, CO. And the top 30 finishers at BMW will now compete in the grand finale, the Tour Championship, which promises a top prize of $25 million when it’s all over.

When is the FedEx Cup?
The FedEx Cup playoffs began on August 15 and run through September 1. The first tournament of the playoffs, the FedEx St. Jude Championship, was held from August 15 – 18. The second, the BMW Championship, ran from August 22 – 25. The final tournament, the TOUR Championship, is held from August 29 – Sept. 1.
