I’m not calling Troy Aikman a liar. Not entirely.

Just because I didn’t believe what he claimed he enjoyed — “loved” — doesn’t mean he was lying; it was more another case of a broadcaster pandering; telling us that he and we should favor acts laying our sports so low as to be unrecognizable.

Monday night, as seen on ESPN, the network that promotes bad as good and worse as even better, Rams LB Jared Verse blocked a Falcons field goal try, scooped the ball then ran for a TD.

Yet, while headed to the end zone, Verse had the presence of mindlessness to turn his attention to the Falcons sideline to taunt his opponents with a check-me-out gesture.
