Coco Gauff brings the stars out to Flushing.
Actress Jessica Biel and model Coco Rocha were among the celebrities on hand to watch Coco Gauff waltz to a 6-4, 6-0 win over Tatjana Maria on Wednesday night at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Biel was seated one row behind Rocha, who was sitting next to her husband James Conran.
Biel and Rocha were both seen fanning themselves during the hot and humid night at Flushing Meadows that remained in the mid-80s as Gauff and Maria battled it out.
Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue, has been a mainstay at the Grand Slam and Wednesday was no different as she watched the two-set match.
Questlove, frontman of The Roots, was also in attendance as Gauff advanced as she looks to defend her title.
As Gauff looks to win a second straight U.S. Open, she has yet to lose a set in either of her two matches.
On Monday, she took down Varvara Gracheva 6-2, 6-0 before her straight sets victory on Wednesday.
After her Monday win, Gauff — who failed to get the third round of the Olympics women’s singles tournament — said the past few weeks have been a struggle.
“The last couple of weeks were tough, and I was like, ‘I have to do this and do that, but I don’t have to prove anything to anyone except myself.’ So (these) two weeks are just about proving all the expectations that I have on myself,” Gauff said then. “I have many more years coming back here and I’m not going to win every year. Just that perspective and just having the belief that I can — but not the expectation that I should.”
