Change is the name of the game for the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers as the teams clash on Sunday Night Football in Week 7.
The biggest NFL news this week is Davante Adams getting traded to the 2-4 Jets for a conditional draft pick that could be a seismic shift in the AFC East. The New York offense has been sputtering, ranking 23rd in the NFL in scoring at 18.8 points per game, even with Aaron Rodgers surrounded by some quality offensive weapons like Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall and Braelon Allen. Reuniting Rodgers and Adams could be a boon for the Jets, who are trying to climb back into the playoff picture.
Meanwhile, in Pittsburgh, the quarterback position has been the talk of the town, with Russell Wilson off the injury report and getting first-team reps in practice this week. Wilson had won the starting job over Justin Fields coming out of the preseason, but a calf injury late in camp sidelined him for the first six weeks. Pittsburgh is 4-2, with one of the best defenses in the NFL, but the offense ranks 20th in scoring and 26th in passing yards per game with Fields at the helm.
