Jordan Love returned to practice on Wednesday, just 12 days after suffering a knee injury during the season opener in Brazil.

Initial reports suggested that Love could miss nearly a month due to a sprained MCL, but his return to the practice field has left the door open for the Packers quarterback to play on Sunday against the Titans.

Love, 25, had a sleeve on his injured left knee and participated in non-contact drills with receivers and backs.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur told reporters that Love was “limited” in practice and that it was “great to have your quarterback out there.”

“We’ll see how he progresses throughout the course of the week,” LaFleur said

Love would still need to be medically cleared in order to get into any action.

“The trainers are seeing everything I’m doing and they’re not gonna put me out there unless they feel confident that I can protect myself,” Love said, according to ESPN. “But at the same time, that’s why it’s good to get some practice reps in and get that feel of what it’s like again.”

Love only missed one game thus far after he was injured against the Eagles.

The injury occurred during the Packers’ final possession of the game, with backup quarterback Malik Willis under center for the final two plays.

Willis started last week’s 16-10 win over the Colts.

While Love expressed happiness over getting on the practice field, he did acknowledge that there is only so much you can do in practice.

“There’s just nothing like when it’s live bullets, you’re in the game and that rush is real,” he said. “So there’s a lot of things I might not experience before I get back in the game.”

The Packers face the Titans at 1 p.m. in Nashville.
