LeBron James got nostalgic about his old rivalry with the Warriors while he was with the Cavaliers.

After rejoining the Cavaliers, James led the team to four straight NBA Finals appearances — all against the Warriors — from 2015-18.

James joined Steph Curry and Kevin Durant in an ESPN interview released on Tuesday to discuss their NBA legacies and they reminisced about that era.

Curry led the Warriors all four years of that period and is still with the team while Durant joined Golden State for the final two years.

The Warriors won the first showdown in 2015 in six games, followed by the Cavaliers’ iconic win in 2016 in seven games after trailing 3-1 in the series.

Then after acquiring Durant, the Warriors easily won the next two years in 2017 and ’18 in five games and a sweep, respectively.

“Those four straight years, Cleveland versus Golden State, it was literally like East Coast versus West Coast,” James said. “It was like a rap beef. Golden State on the West Coast and the Cavs on the East Coast, it was like a rap beef.”

Curry opened up about the relationship the three of them share.

“We all have an experience of watching each other play or knowing each other when we first met to now and that evolution is so dope to watch because you truly understand what it takes to be great at this level,” Curry said. “So that respect is always there.”

He also acknowledged that he is nearing the end of his career.

“Every year it’s a new style, a new energy coming through that challenges you,” Curry said. “We know it’s not going to be around forever. So I feel like it gives you perspective on enjoying the game now and to enjoy every minute of it.”
