Luka Dončić sure appeared to throw a vulgar barb at one of his opponents on Sunday.
Following a foul call in the third quarter of the Lakers’ game against the Grizzlies at Crypto.com Arena, the Los Angeles superstar seemed to be so upset by Santi Aldama’s actions during the play, he looked like he hurled some R-rated trash talk at the Memphis big man.
Broadcast cameras captured him muttering “f–king soft-ass bitch” as he walked away from his opponent.

At the time of the play, the Lakers were down 77-72, though they were able to go on a run and ultimately won the game, 120-114.
It was hardly Doncic’s only notable smack talk during the evening, as in the fourth quarter, he trolled the Grizzlies while shooting a free throw.

Doncic let the ball fly from his hands and screamed, “Short!”
However, after the ball swished through the net, he yelled, “Sike!”
Doncic finished the night with 36 points on 10-of-20 shooting.
He added nine rebounds, eight assists and one block in the victory as well.

It hasn’t always been the prettiest for the Lakers this season — JJ Redick has unleashed on his players and their defensive effort a few times already — but they’re 2-0 to start 2026 and currently sit in third place in the Western Conference standings with a 22-11 record entering Monday’s slate.
