It looks as if the Giants will get back their most dynamic weapon on offense, as rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers was on the field Wednesday for practice.

Nabers was wearing a red non-contact jersey, which is standard operating procedure for players working through concussion protocol.

Nabers suffered a concussion in Week 4, a loss to the Cowboys. He missed the past two games and was unable to get on the field for practice during that time.

This is a sign of progress.

“He’s doing much better,’’ head coach Brian Daboll said. “I’m optimistic.’’

Unless Nabers experiences a setback, the expectation is he will clear concussion protocol and make his return for Sunday’s game against the Eagles at MetLife Stadium.

Despite missing two games, Nabers leads the Giants in receptions (35), receiving yards (386) and receiving touchdowns (three).

Running back Devin Singletary, who missed the last two games with a strained groin, was also able to return to practice.

These additions to the offense are needed, with the news that stud left tackle Andrew Thomas is gone for the season after undergoing Lisfranc surgery Wednesday on his left foot.
