Marvin Harrison Jr. ruled out vs. Colts in Week 6 due to concussion

The Arizona Cardinals are snake-bitten by injuries this season. With starting quarterback Kyler Murray already inactive due to a foot injury Sunday, the Cardinals lost more players against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6, including star wideout Marvin Harrison Jr.

Harrison initially left the game due to a suspected concussion. Harrison appeared to sustain the injury late in the second quarter. Harrison caught a 21-yard pass on third down to keep a drive alive. As he was being tackled, Harrison smacked his head on the ground.

He was removed from the contest and went into the blue sideline tent for further evaluation. Harrison eventually was spotted on the broadcast leaving the field and going to the locker room.

Shortly after that, the Cardinals announced he was being evaluated for a concussion.

With the third quarter underway, the Cardinals ruled Harrison out due to the injury.

After losing both James Conner and Trey Benson earlier this year, the Cardinals also announced Sunday that wide receiver Michael Wilson was questionable to return to the Colts game due to a finger injury. Running back Emari Demercado was also deemed questionable to return due to an ankle injury.

Despite those absences, the Cardinals trailed the Colts only by a touchdown when Harrison left the contest. Without Harrison, the team managed a field goal at the end of the drive, cutting the deficit to four points.

Harrison finished the contest with two catches for 32 yards.
