The Mets found their center fielder.

David Stearns & Co. are trading for Baltimore’s Cedric Mullins, The Post confirmed Thursday, in a move they hope will fix their biggest position-player hole.

The Post’s Joel Sherman reported the Mets will send three righty pitching prospects to Baltimore: Anthony Nunez (their No. 14 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline), Raimon Gomez (No. 30) and Chandler Marsh (unranked).

The deal was unofficial and pending physicals.

Mullins, 30, is a veteran lefty hitter with a strong glove and good speed in center having a nice season with a .738 OPS, 15 home runs and 14 steals in 91 games.

He likely will push Jeff McNeil back to the infield and will take time or a roster spot from Tyrone Taylor, who owns just a .553 OPS.

Adding Mullins meant the Mets did not add Harrison Bader (who wound up with the Phillies) or Luis Robert Jr. (who had not been traded several hours before the deadline).

Stearns had acknowledged the club has received little offensively from center field — the Mets’ combined .602 OPS at the spot is the fourth-worst in baseball — and an upgrade would be helpful for a team with World Series aspirations.

The Mets used their prospect depth and not their prospect gems to bring in Mullins, just as they had done with Gregory Soto, Tyler Rogers and Ryan Helsley.

The top-rated prospect lost in this deal will be Nunez, a former position player who has taken off as a reliever. The 24-year-old has struck out 60 in 40 innings between High-A Brooklyn and Double-A Binghamton this season while pitching to a 1.58 ERA.

Gómez is a 23-year-old reliever with control issues and a massive arm that has touched 104 mph. With Low-A St. Lucie and Brooklyn, he has pitched to a 4.63 ERA with 48 strikeouts and 25 walks in 35 innings.

Marsh, an undrafted free agent in 2024, was a multi-inning relief arm with St. Lucie and Brooklyn this season who held a 2.57 ERA in 42 innings.
