Michael Strahan didn’t appreciate being asked questions about the controversy engulfing the former Giants star.

The “Good Morning America” co-host exploded outside his home when asked for comment by a Daily Mail reporter on Tuesday about brouhaha that’s raged since he did not place his hand over his heart during the national anthem during “Fox NFL Sunday” Veteran’s Day coverage from Naval Base San Diego.

“Don’t come to my house, man!” he yelled, grabbing the reporter’s phone and throwing it into a nearby bush.

Strahan, 52, has not directly addressed any of the uproar, though his Fox cohort Jay Glazer has led the charge of those defending the ex-defensive end, while the network will reportedly not discipline him.

The pass rusher did, however, post an ode to his father, a former serviceman, Monday.

“Thank you to all veterans and active service members who courageously risk their lives to protect us every day,” he wrote, including photos of his father in uniform. “Your selfless service is beyond measure. This is my hero, it is also my father, Maj. Gene W. Strahan, Sr.”

“Just as I honor my father, I keep all of you in my thoughts each and every day as we would not have the safety and freedoms we cherish without you. Thank You.”

That has not quelled any of the turmoil surrounding him, which he has been reluctant to address.

Strahan did not mention the controversy during Tuesday’s “Good Morning America,” on which he has been a full-time host since 2016.

“There isn’t going to be any type of punishment or fine going Michael’s way,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “He may address it, but he is weighing his options because he never thought this would have ever been a thing. He knows the man he is, and he almost doesn’t want to address the controversy to give it more life.”
