Mike Vrabel reveals extreme length he’d go to for Super Bowl win: ‘Leave her six’

Mike Vrabel’s bill is getting close to due and he isn’t quite willing to risk it all anymore.

While a guest on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast with Will Compton and Taylor Lewan, Vrabel was asked about his 2019 comments when he said he’d cut off his penis to win another Super Bowl.

“I mean, I’d probably cut it in half… Leave her six,” Vrabel said jokingly to the show’s hosts as his Patriots prepare to take on the Seahawks in Super Bowl 2026 on Sunday.

This is a slight change-up from what he said on a 2019 episode on the very same podcast, where Vrabel said he would cut off the entire thing.

“Been married 20 years. Yeah, probably,” Vrabel said to the two hosts, who both played in the NFL at the same time as Vrabel.

When Lewan pointed out that Vrabel had already won three as a player, Vrabel added that after 20 years of marriage, “You won’t need it.”

When asked last week about the same comments from 2019, Vrabel downplayed them.

“That was just to get that young fledgling group, Taylor and Will — get them to fly into the podcast game and it took off,” Vrabel said.

Vrabel, who was the coach of the Titans at the time of the original 2019 podcast episode, has engineered an amazing turnaround in New England in his first year as head coach.

Mike Vrabel gets a big laugh out of Will Compton and Taylor Lewan.

The former Patriots linebacker has taken the franchise from a 4-13 record — which led to the firing of Jerod Mayo after one season as Bill Belichick’s successor — to the No. 2 seed in the AFC.

Vrabel was fired by the Titans after the 2023 season and was an advisor to the Browns in 2024 before returning to the head-coaching ranks.

Vrabel is the odds-on favorite to win the NFL Coach of the Year — luckily, there is no bodily cost that comes with that honor.
