ESPN NFL analyst Mina Kimes said it was “an honor” to be on the receiving end of Cardi B’s fury after the Patriots’ 28-16 win over the Houston Texans in Sunday’s divisional round clash.
The rapper, who’s dating New England wideout Stefon Diggs, ripped the “NFL Live” crew — Kimes, Hannah Storm, Ryan Clark, Dan Orlovsky, and Marcus Spears — in a social media video for unanimously picking the Texans over the Patriots to win.
Kimes, who posted the video on X, replied with: “Getting dunked on by Cardi B….an honor and a privilege tbh.”
After the game, Cardi reshared the “NFL Live” clip and laid into the group of ESPNers.
“What are y’all talking about? Nothing!” Cardi yelled.
“THEY DIDN’T BELIEVE IN US !!! I LIKE US!!!!! WE ALL WE GOT!!!!! WE ALL WE NEED !!!!” she captioned her post.
Storm was filling in for “NFL Live” host Laura Rutledge at the time.
Kimes also responded to someone who said, “Weren’t [the Patriots] favored to win?”
“Yes lol. Our dumb asses all thought we were being clever,” she said, referring to the “NFL Live” crew.
Cardi did not make the trip to Foxborough for the divisional round clash, as she is currently rehearsing for her “Little Miss Drama Tour,” which begins next month.
The couple, who made their relationship Instagram official last June, welcomed their son in November.
The Patriots advanced to the AFC title game for the first time in seven years and will face the Broncos in Denver on Sunday, Jan. 25.
Denver backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham will get his first postseason start in the AFC title game after Bo Nix suffered a fractured ankle in overtime.
Diggs finished with four receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown against the Texans.
The 32-year-old Diggs, who’s in his first season with New England, made headlines off the field last month for allegedly assaulting a personal chef.
He denied the allegations through his lawyer, David Meier.
Diggs — who was set to be arraigned in Dedham District Court on Jan. 23, which is the Friday before the AFC Championship game — was granted a postponement of his arraignment until Feb. 13, records show, per The Boston Globe.
The All-Pro receiver made the request due to a “previously scheduled professional commitment” that day, Meier previously said.
