When the Nets come out of the All-Star break Thursday — tipping off the second half of the season in Cleveland — they’ll have the fifth-worst record in the league.

Or, more relevant from Brooklyn’s perspective, the fifth-best odds in the lottery.

The Nets are knee-deep into a rebuild based on a youth movement.

Whoever they draft in June may be the single biggest part of that build.
