The Rangers left their latest victory with a pair of injury scares, and one of them turned into a nightmare.
Adam Fox, who left the ice holding his shoulder during their win over the Islanders on Tuesday, is going on injured reserve with an upper-body injury, according to The Post’s Mollie Walker and Larry Brooks.
He’s going to miss some time — and needs to miss at least the next seven days, according to the protocols attached to the IR designation — but is expected back before the end of the regular season.

Fox, part of the Blueshirts’ top pairing with Ryan Lindgren and a key piece of their top power-play line, has collected 48 points in 58 games.
K’Andre Miller also exited Tuesday’s 5-1 win with a lower-body injury, but his status remains unclear.
The Rangers recalled Matthew Robertson from AHL Hartford on Wednesday.
