The Baltimore Ravens will be without Lamar Jackson for a second straight week after the quarterback was ruled out for Week 6 with a hamstring injury.
Jackson suffered the injury in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs and has not practiced or played since.

Prior to Week 5, Jackson had not missed a game due to injury since the 2023 season. He’ll get an extra week of recovery time next week when the Ravens go on their bye before their Oct. 26 game against the Chicago Bears.
Cooper Rush, who started for the two-time NFL MVP last week against the Houston Texans, will once again be under center for the 1-4 Ravens. Rush went 14-for-20 for 179 yards and three interceptions in the 44-10 defeat.

The 3-2 Rams pose a tough task as they are currently the NFL’s leaders in passing yards and tied for third in sacks with 25. As Rush enters what might be his final week as the team’s starter, he has the support of his teammates.

“‘Coop’ took command of the offense, I thought he did a great job today, and ultimately, we have to play better around him,” said Ravens center Tyler Linderbaum.
“I feel like if anybody is missing their starting quarterback on any team, it’ll be a challenging week,” said wide receiver Zay Flowers. “We believe in ‘Coop,’ and we believe in what we have. We believe in our team, so I think we’ll be alright.”
While Jackson remains out, the Ravens did receive some good news in the form of a few key returns to practice with safety Kyle Hamilton (groin), left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle), fullback Patrick Ricard (calf), and cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf) all getting back on the field.

The Ravens need to start racking up victories in order to not dig a deeper hole in the AFC North. They enter Week 6 tied for last in the division with the Cleveland Browns as they chase the division-leading Pittsburgh Steelers, who are 3-1.
