Saquon Barkley cannot be stopped.

As if watching Sunday’s NFC Championship game be played between the rival Eagles and Commanders wasn’t bad enough for Giants fans, they got yet another reminder of how much of a difference-maker their former running back is when he took a handoff on Philadelphia’s first play from scrimmage and ran it for a 60-yard touchdown, giving the Eagles a 7-3 lead.

This came after Barkley carried the Eagles to a Divisional Round win over the Rams in the snow last Sunday when he ran for 205 yards and two touchdowns.

Barkley’s 60-yard touchdown came after the Commanders opened the game with an 18-play, 54-yard drive that chewed up 7:03 and resulted in a field goal.

Barkley then scored another touchdown on the Eagles’ second drive, after they forced a Commanders fumble and recovered, a 4-yard score with 3:43 left in the first quarter that put Philly up, 14-3.

The 27-year-old, who signed a three-year, $37.75 million contract including $26 million guaranteed with the Eagles last offseason after six years with the Giants, also ran for 119 yards in a wild-card win over the Packers.
