Oddsmakers like Shohei Ohtani’s chances of going deep on Tuesday night in Denver.

The Dodgers’ slugger is +110 to go yard, which is a number never seen in the short history of ESPN BET

Those are the shortest odds to hit a home run ever offered by the sportsbook, according to ESPN BET spokesman Gordon Stevenson.

Per Stevenson, the previous low was Aaron Judge at +115 to hit a dinger on May 10 against the Athletics in Sacramento.

Judge went on to homer twice in that contest.

Ohtani will take his cuts in the most hitter-friendly ballpark in baseball – Coors Field.

In 76 career plate appearances at Coors Field, Ohtani has hit .397/.453/.765 with six home runs.

One of the most homer-prone pitchers in baseball, Austin Gomber, will take the mound for the Rockies, which is another thing working in Ohtani’s favor.

Gomber has allowed 14 homers in just 54 ⅔ innings, which comes out to a whopping 2.30 home runs allowed per nine innings, the second-highest rate in baseball among pitchers with at least 50 innings on the mound this season.

Ohtani comes into the game on a hot stretch, even by his standards.

This month, he’s hitting .397/.521/.741 with five home runs across 16 games.

Even with the ridiculously low odds, bettors aren’t shying away.
