Simone Biles embraces Bears husband after thrilling playoff comeback against Packers

Simone Biles had her cheese grater headgear at the ready.

Moments after the Bears edged out the Packers in a thrilling wild-card clash at Soldier Field on Saturday night, the seven-time Olympic gold medalist gymnast sweetly embraced her husband, Chicago safety Jonathan Owens, as the NFC North champs kept their season alive with a 31-27 victory.

In photos shared on Biles’ Instagram Stories, the longtime couple — who first got together in 2020 before tying the knot three years later — kissed on the field in one snap and hugged one another in the other, with the famed Olympian, 28, sporting the cheese grater topper.

Biles previously broke out the statement accessory in Week 16, when Chicago topped Green Bay in overtime, 22-16.

Down 21-6 entering the fourth quarter, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams orchestrated four scoring drives, including a touchdown with less than two minutes to go, to give Chicago a four-point lead it would not relinquish.

Williams, the first overall pick in the 2024 draft, finished his playoff debut by completing 24-of-48 attempts for 361 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

The former USC star, 24, credited the victory to “true belief.”

“That’s all you need. You got belief in the coaches that they’re gonna call the right play at the right time. You got belief in the players on the field that you’re gonna make the right play at the right time,” said Williams, who also trolled the Packers with a cheese grater hat.

It remains to be seen who the Bears will host in the divisional round next weekend.

Should the sixth-seeded 49ers top the No. 3 seed Eagles on Sunday, the fifth-seeded Rams will travel to Chicago.

If the reigning Super Bowl champs knock off San Francisco, they’ll fly to the Windy City.

The Seahawks, the NFC’s top seed, will host the lowest remaining seed depending on the outcome of Sunday’s game.
