A star-studded lineup of boxing is on tap in the world’s most famous arena on Saturday night.

Shakur Stevenson (24-0, 13 KOs) takes the leap to 140 pounds in an attempt to dethrone current WBO and “The Ring” super lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez (22-1, 13 KOs).

The Ring 6 is Matchroom Boxing’s latest installment, which concludes with Stevenson and Lopez touching gloves in a highly anticipated world title fight.

Tensions boiled over between both fighters’ entourages at the weigh-in, where Stevenson tipped the scales at 138.6 pounds while Lopez weighed in at 139.6 pounds.

The action gets going at 6 p.m. ET with the preliminary card, and things shift at 7:45 p.m. ET toward the main card. Lopez and Stevenson ring walks are projected for 10:50 p.m. ET, as the full card will stream on DAZN.

Teofimo Lopez vs. Shakur Stevenson prediction

This is a classic orthodox (Lopez) vs. southpaw (Stevenson) matchup, as both fighters like to play to their strengths.

Lopez is the more aggressive of the two, and it’s possible he starts this bout off by standing behind his jab and working toward Stevenson’s body.

In his last win over Arnold Barboza Jr., the Brooklyn-born champion thoroughly outperformed his opposition and cruised toward his fourth-straight unanimous decision victory.

However, Teofimo knows he’ll be standing opposite a technical savant in Stevenson, who, like his mentor, Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford, can weather any storm.

Stevenson’s latest victory over William Zepeda was arguably his most impressive as he ditched the defense and executed offensively with 199 power shots, landing 52.5% of all total punches, per CompuBox, en route to an unanimous decision win.

It seems that with each jump to a different weight class, Stevenson’s power and punching ability get stronger, too.

Lopez is as tough as they come, but the pride of Newark, NJ, seems to relish moments like this.

Stevenson has already won world titles in three weight classes. I expect him to join an elite stable of fighters who have conquered four divisions with a decision victory over Lopez.

The PLAY: Stevenson on points (-190, BetMGM)
