INDIANAPOLIS — The Jets might have been talking to Garrett Wilson’s next running mate before getting rid of his last two.

Tetairoa McMillan met with the Jets at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine and looks like a logical fit to replace Davante Adams and Allen Lazard whenever the Jets make the anticipated moves to cut Aaron Rodgers’ two favorite receivers and save $36 million in salary cap space.

McMillan is the consensus top-ranked receiver in the draft class among teams that view two-way threat Travis Hunter as a cornerback first.

If he slides past the Patriots at pick No. 4, he should be available to the Jets at No. 7.
