The Mets’ Opening Day lineup won’t feature Pete Alonso at first base for the first time since 2018 (Adrian Gonzalez), Brandon Nimmo in the outfield for the second time since 2017 (Yoenis Cespedes, Curtis Granderson and Jay Bruce) and Jeff McNeil somewhere on the diamond for the second time since 2018.
