So, what changed?

How did St. John’s suddenly flip a switch and play two of its best games of the season when it looked like so much was lost following the ugly home loss to underachieving Providence?

Out of virtually nowhere, the Johnnies trounced two of the better teams in the Big East, Butler and Creighton, on the road. They won the two contests by a combined 31 points, but really it wasn’t that close, the two final scores somewhat cosmetic. This looked like the team that nearly beat undefeated No. 3 Iowa State and trounced Baylor in Las Vegas.
