The Vision is starting to have an image problem.
WWE’s top faction looked its weakest and most helpless yet as they were unable to help Bron Breakker pry the World Heavyweight championship away from CM Punk during the one-year anniversary of “Monday Night Raw” on Netflix this week at Barclays Center.
Every member of The Vision interfered in the main event match in some way, but it wasn’t enough. Punk, 47, was able to use his craftiness and grit to beat the 28-year-old Breakker by pinning his shoulders to the mat to end a “Stranger Things”- themed Raw — Netflix somehow wasn’t able to get even one member of the cast to the show despite WWE showcasing its comedians and actors in the front row all year long.
Even worse for the Vision, it didn’t take a parade of main event talent to thwart their attempt to steal the title from Punk, but a group of undersized mid-card performers in Dragon Lee, Penta and Rey Mysterio (no offense to the Hall of Famer).
