Trade rumors are swirling in South Beach once again.
The Miami Dolphins speedster wide receiver Tyreek Hill hasn’t run from trade rumors in the past, appearing to request a trade immediately after the season before backtracking after talking to front office members.
Those trade rumors appear to be percolating again, with Hill replying to a tweet asking fans how they would feel about trading the star receiver with a smiley face emoji.

Over The Cap’s Jason Fitzgerald then posted on X that Hill would be the biggest draft night trade candidate, to which Hill replied his patented “peace sign” emoji.
Another news aggregator account, NFL Rumors, tweeted an unsubstantiated claim that Hill would be OK if the Dolphins traded him to a playoff contender.
In response, Hill said, “lol another false narrative.”
Hill did not take kindly to missing the playoffs in 2024, the first time in his NFL career that his team outright missed the postseason in his nine-year career.
The former Chief-turned-Dolphin issued a public apology to the team and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa while on Radio Row for the Super Bowl, appearing on “Up and Adams” with Kay Adams.
“This is my first time I haven’t been in the playoffs, man,” Hill said on Feb. 7. “So I just got to do what’s best for me and my family. If that’s here or wherever the case may be, I’m finna open that door for myself. I’m opening the door. I’m out, bro. It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, I gotta do what’s best for my career because I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there.”

It is unclear if Hill is actually looking for a trade at this point, and he could just be having fun stirring the rumor mill during the offseason.
Hill has been using his peace sign taunt when running for long touchdowns for most of his career.
Hill had a career-worst season in 2024, grabbing just 959 yards in 17 games played with a career-low six touchdowns.
