The Big House’s biggest game of the year is finally here.
On Saturday, Nov. 29, the No. 1-ranked, undefeated and defending NCAA champion Ohio State Buckeyes visit their bitter rival, the No. 15 Michigan Wolverines for “The Game” at Ann Arbor’s Michigan Stadium (aka The Big House).
While Julian Sayin’s Buckeyes are heavily-favored — USA Today predicts they’ll win by 10 — alert fans may recall this was the case last year when a 6-5 Michigan squad upset No. 6-ranked, 10-1 Ohio State in Columbus to end the 2024 season.
Clearly fired up, Ryan Day’s club hasn’t lost since.
Want to be there to see if Bryce Underwood and the Wolverines can snap the Buckeyes’ impressive 15-game win streak?
As of now, last-minute tickets are still available.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats was $286 including fees on Vivid Seats.
To be fair, those are in the endzone, though. If you want to sit in the lower level on the 50-yard line, tickets start at $536 including fees.
Interestingly enough, Michigan’s surprise victory last year was no aberration; Sherrone Moore’s Wolverines have won the last four “The Game” contests, including their 2023 showdown that fell during head coach Jim Harbaugh’s three-game suspension.
However, this may be the biggest yet as Michigan finds itself on the CFP bubble, even after tallying five wins in a row.
“You’re playing for something big, and that’s what you want,” Moore said about this year’s game, where a victory would catapult them into the postseason conversation. “All those things are at hand, and I think our kids deserve to know that they’re in position.”
It’s do or die time.
Big House. Big Game. Big playoff implications.
