It’s something of a Thibs tradition to start slow.

Consider last season: The Knicks were 5-5, then 12-9, then 17-15 before … winning 33 of the final 50 games.

Or look at the 2022-23 campaign: The Knicks began 10-13, Tom Thibodeau was moving toward the unemployment line, they were 18-18 in late December and they won 29 of the final 46 games.

Or 2020-21: They were 5-8, then 11-15, then 25-27 before … winning 16 of the final 20 games.
