The eight WNBA teams who qualify for the playoffs will all play their first game this Sunday. The No. 2 seed Minnesota Lynx, who finished the regular season with a 30-10 record, will host the No. 7 seed Phoenix Mercury (19-21) in a game that will he held on Sunday, Sept, 22 at 5 p.m. (These playoffs may or may not be the last for Mercury player Diana Taurasi – the three-time WNBA champion has hinted at retirement but has not yet confirmed plans for another season.) The Lynx will host the Mercury at the Target Center in Minneapolis, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN or it can be streamed after it concludes on WNBA League Pass.
