Jets owner Woody Johnson delivered his plea to disgruntled pass rusher Haason Reddick on Tuesday.

Johnson fielded a question about Reddick, who has yet to report to the Jets this season, during his conference call with reporters to discuss the firing of Robert Saleh.

Johnson gave Reddick a personal message.

“Haason, get in your car, drive down (I-)95 and come to the New York Jets, and we can meet you and give you an escort right in the building,” Johnson said, “and you’ll fit right in and you’re going to love it here and you’re going to feel welcome and you’re going to accomplish great things with us.”

The Jets traded with the Eagles for Reddick at the end of March but he wants a new contract.

He skipped the spring program, training camp and the team’s first five games.

He has racked up millions of dollars in fines.

“This is something I’ve never seen before,” Johnson said. “You have to be part psychologist and part some other -gist to try to figure out what is actually going on. I hope that the young man can come to the team. We’d welcome him with open arms. When he gets here, he’ll find a very welcome locker room.”
