Wrestler who stopped vicious Raja Jackson attack speaks out: ‘He would have killed him’

The wrestler who jumped into the chaotic scene of Raja Jackson attacking Stuart Smith revealed he took some punches as well.

Douglas “The Epic” Malo told his side of the story in an interview posted to X.

“When we’re in the f–king ring and I’m breaking it up and he shoots a f–king double leg on me,” Malo said. “And then I’m telling you to f–king calm down. I’m not even fighting or being hostile.”

Malo adds that Jackson continued trying to fight and wrestle him during the incident.

“And then you punch me in the f–king eye after we’re breaking it up you f–king loser … What kind of person are you, you low-life f–king clown… What the f–k is wrong with you?”

Malo added that Jackson was trying a double-leg takedown on him just as he had done to Smith.

Warning: Graphic Language

“I think he would have killed him,” Malo said. “I promise you, he would’ve killed him. He would’ve killed me if he would have got the best of me. If he would have took my legs out from under me like he was trying to. He would have done the same thing to me that he did to Stu.”

After the incident, Jackson was seen on camera screaming, “Stop playing with me,” at himself on camera in a frightening scene.

Malo insisted that Jackson needs to seek help and go to therapy rather than “take it out on everybody else.”

Jackson, 25, is currently under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department for the brutal incident.

Smith is still in the hospital, and there’s been no update on his health since Monday when a concerning development made the rounds.

Jackson’s father, UFC legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, said he’s been on the receiving end of racist messages and calls stating he is a bad father.
