Controversial adult star Bonnie Blue sparks fury with ‘deeply disrespectful’ stunt outside Indonesian embassy

A controversial porn star is facing claims of disgracing Indonesia after she was arrested and fined $20 for flouting Bali’s road rules.

Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, was seen in a since-deleted video outside of Indonesia’s embassy in London, surrounded by masked men just weeks after she was deported and banned from the country for a decade.

“Apparently, I’ve disrespected the Bali culture, but that’s nothing compared to the disrespect these boys are about to show me,” she said in the clip.

She was then seen walking with the Indonesian flag tucked in to the back of her jeans and mimicking a sex act as she stood outside the building while the men cheered her on.

“I’m just here to pay my £8.50 (AU $20) fine,” she said.

Social media quickly blew up, with the video circulating on X.

“I’m not even Indonesian, and I got furious,” one social media user commented on a version of the clip that was circulating.

One said, “Just my thought, she can do whatever she wants, but using the Indonesian flag really crosses the line. That’s deeply disrespectful.”

Another said: “This act constitutes an insult to national dignity.”

“What you did in Bali, we couldn’t care less tbh, but dragging our flag has crossed the line,” another social media user commented.

news.com.au has contacted Blue’s Australian publicist for comment.

Yvonne Mewengkang, Foreign Ministry’s spokeswoman, told the Jakarta Globe: “Our embassy in London has filed an official complaint to UK authorities, including the Foreign Ministry, to handle this case, in accordance with the applicable laws, procedures, and authorities in the UK.

“The red and white flag is a symbol of sovereignty, honor, and national identity that must be respected by everyone, wherever they are.”

Blue, who had her Australian visa cancelled in 2024, was arrested alongside a group of 17 male tourists last month following a raid of a studio in Badung.

Fourteen of the men, all Australians, were released without charge while an investigation into Blue and the other three tourists was launched.

After two days of interviews, Badung Police issued a statement on Wednesday, declaring they “had not found any pornographic elements” during the dramatic raid, detikBali reported.

Officials said everyone quizzed “admitted to being at the studio to participate in the production of the reality show content.”

Allegations of pornographic content were not substantiated, and she was only “proven lawfully and convincingly guilty of committing the criminal offence of using a motor vehicle not in accordance with its designated purpose.”

Blue was ordered to pay a $20 fine for the motor vehicle offence or spend a month in jail.
