Dramatic footage has captured the moment a mother and daughter were saved by heroic tourists after falling into an icy river in China.
The woman had leaped into the water at Kansas Scenic Area in Xinjiang to save her child, according to local reports.
Moments later, the fast-flowing current began pulling her downstream, prompting nearby onlookers to intervene on February, 10, 2025.
Visitors on the riverbank removed their outer clothing for the little girl to grab onto, and together they helped pull her safely ashore.
The mum was then assisted to safety on the opposite bank by three men.
No injuries were reported.
Authorities reminded locals and tourists to stay alert around rivers, avoid walking on ice-covered areas, and supervise children closely near fast-flowing water.
